A Tender Stay
early check-in english breakfast train station
The staff were friendly. They helped with early check-in and let me maximize my time and use the car park. A full English breakfast seemed like a warm hug, and it was very nice. The location is good, very close to the train station and within walking distance.
The room lacked air conditioning, and it was a bit warm. A small fan aided a little.

EXCELLENT stay!
great location friendly staff
The location is GREAT, within walking distance of the city center. Staff members were VERY friendly. I also found maps which was a great idea, I used it throughout my stay to ensure I saw as much as possible.
I was not too happy with the small room! I had to open the window or use a small fan.

The hotel is near many landmarks, including museums and the Botanic Gardens. The city center is walkable from the hotel, taking about 20 minutes to the Market Square. The train station is also very close.

clean reception area calm lounge area free parking
The reception area looked very clean and smart. i saw a calm lounge area that looked very inviting, though i did not use it. free parking at the rear was REALLY helpful. I did not have to worry about my car.
My room faced the street and was noisy. I heard traffic and passersby at night. it was hard to sleep well with the constant noise.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. They seemed to want to help guests. the service personnel acted like they were working at a fancy restaurant. The food service was AMAZING!!!

There is parking at the hotel rear. This is a definite plus for those driving. the hotel is near the train station, and a short walk gets you to the city centre, very convenient.
